Koko's Paint By Number Kit
|
What size are the pieces?
|
The most important part of a portrait is also the part with the most detail
and smallest pieces – the eyes.
Here is an example of the size of one eye and its corresponding Paint By
Number lines.
This is the size that you would have in a portrait of two people in an 11” x
14” painting(like the portrait of my friend Bob and his daughter at the
top of the Gallery page).
More people in the painting or including more of someone’s body in the
painting will make the pieces smaller and details will start to be lost….. for
example the eye highlight (labeled ‘O’) will disappear and the crease
above the eye will become all one color. See our 'Choosing a good
photo' page for tips on selecting a photo.
These are generally the smallest pieces. If you can paint this you're all set.
